Kari's visit

We took Kari to Moab Memorial Day weekend

This guy proposed to his girlfriend...she said yes!

30 weeks!

After a weekend of hiking, camping and little sleep I was pretty tired!  I was glad to have Monday off work to recuperate!

Projects

The finished quilt!

And some burp clothes.  These were quick and easy and I used up some fabric scraps.

From a couple of weeks ago, at 21 weeks.

We went to the Red Wings game on Friday night, was a good game to be at, they won in overtime!

Finally started my quilt, it is a lot of fun.  I got nothing else done today on my day off!

I think I found a layout I am happy with!

Moab

 Dead Horse Point State Park
Saturday was cold and snow/rain off and on all day
Typical Michael hanging out on the ledge
At the Schafer Trail overlook in Canyonlands....couldn't see very far since it was snowing.
Heading into Arches Nat'l Park Saturday evening, it was starting to clear up and the sky looked pretty cool!
We hiked to Corona Arch Sunday morning.  One of the restaurants in town has a picture of a plane flying through this arch...that is one daring pilot!
Biking Slickrock Trail.  We knew starting out that this bike trail would be way too hard for us, but decided we would just walk if we needed to.  I walked more than half of it!

Sunday evening we hiked to Delicate Arch for the sunset.  This is definitely the time to go, we weren't the only people with that idea!

Utah Trip Day 8

We woke up early Sunday morning to start the hike up Mount Sneffels.  It was pretty cold when we started, but it didn't take long to warm up!

Its hard to see in this picture but on the far right next to the lake someone set up a tent and camped.  What an awesome campsite!

We had to do a lot of rock scrambling
 Almost to the top
View from the top, it was pretty hazy that day from all the wildfires in the surrounding states.
We made it! 14,150 feet!

Utah Trip Day 7

Finally got around to posting the pictures from the last couple days of our trip.  I tried a week ago but our internet has been super slow and wouldn't even upload one picture!

On Saturday we drove to Ouray and relaxed all day, the only day of the trip that we were able to.  We decided we should get a little rest before tackling Mount Sneffels on Sunday.  I didn't take many pictures this day since we didn't really do too much!
Our Campsite

Our campsite was right next to this river
