Utah Trip Day 2

 Woke up early, made breakfast and got a group picture before we left the campground

 Before heading out, we stopped at the orchard to pick some apples

 Took a 4 wheel drive road through the desert to Cathedral Valley in Capitol Reef.  Dried up clay in washes/river beds.

 Pictures don't do justice to how big these rock formations really are

 That's Michael, Kari and Erick standing under it, they look like little ants!

 Gypsum sink hole, a huge hole in the ground.  Michael of course had to climb to the top and pose for a picture.

 On the drive to Bryce Canyon.  Just outside of Bryce, we found an awesome camping spot on a little

 river.  It felt good to actually have a cooler evening and to sit around a fire.

It was a beautiful starry night.

Utah Trip Day 1

We got back from our Utah trip late Sunday night, we had so much fun.  But now I think I need a vacation from my vacation!  I rented a wide angle lens and I am so glad I did.  It was fun to play with a new lens!

 Capitol Reef

 There had been heavy rain a couple of days before so there was some roads in Capitol Reef that were washed out.  We wanted to check them out so we took out our mountain bikes, it was nice and peaceful with no one else around.

4th of July

There wasn't really any fireworks around here this year because of all the wildfires going on.  We went to a baseball game on Saturday and  watched the fireworks there.

Storm

We are having some crazy storms right now, there has been tornadoes around Denver all day.  As I am typing this we heard the tornado sirens going off...never heard that before!  Hopefully a tornado doesn't hit here!  I went out onto our balcony to get some pictures of the lightening.

Memorial Day Weekend

My Mom and Dad came for Memorial Day weekend.  We went up into the mountains for the weekend and had a ton of fun.  I have a TON of pictures to go through, but here is a start!
